Team Management

Collaborate on ShipPulse projects with your team. Each project has its own member list with role-based access control.

Roles

Owner
  • •Full access to all project settings
  • •Manage billing and plan upgrades
  • •Invite, change roles, and remove all members
  • •Delete the project
  • •Rotate API keys

There is exactly one Owner per project. Ownership can be transferred to an Admin.

Admin
  • •Full access to project content (testimonials, changelog, etc.)
  • •Invite Members and Viewers
  • •Manage custom domains and integrations
  • •Cannot manage billing or delete the project

Assign Admin to trusted collaborators who need to manage all content.

Member
  • •Create, edit, and publish content (testimonials, changelog, incidents)
  • •Moderate feedback and respond to requests
  • •Cannot change project settings or integrations

Assign Member to your content team or customer success reps.

Viewer
  • •Read-only access to all project content
  • •Cannot create, edit, or publish anything

Assign Viewer to stakeholders who need visibility without edit access.

Invite a team member

1

Open your project in the ShipPulse dashboard.

2

Go to Settings → Team.

3

Click Invite member.

4

Enter their email address and choose a role.

5

Click Send invitation. They'll receive an email with a link to join the project.

6

Once they accept, they appear in the team list with the assigned role.

Invitations expire after 7 days. You can resend or revoke pending invitations from Settings → Team → Pending invitations.

Change a member's role

Go to Settings → Team, find the member, click the role badge next to their name, and select the new role from the dropdown. Changes take effect immediately.

To transfer Ownership, change the target member's role to Owner. Your own role will automatically downgrade to Admin.

Remove a team member

Go to Settings → Team, find the member, click the ⋯ menu, and select Remove from project. The member immediately loses access to the project. Their past activity (changelog entries they published, etc.) is preserved.

The Owner cannot be removed — transfer ownership first.
